Police investigate fatal crash in Prince George's Co.

BOWIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's Co. officials say a man has died in a multi-vehicle crash in Bowie.

It happened Thursday night at the intersection of Rt. 301 and Governors Bridge Road, where two cars with four people in each collided. The driver of a northbound car on Rt. 301 ran a red light at the intersection and hit the car trying to a the turn onto Governors Bride Road from southbound 301, according to Maryland State Police.

The man who died was in the passenger seat of the car that was hit.

Five additional people were taken to area hospitals. The crash remains under investigation.

Suspect arrested in PG County pizza delivery man homicide

LAKE ARBOR, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police arrested a man in Lake Arbor on Saturday in connection with the homicide of a 34-year-old pizza delivery man.

The victim in the homicide has been identified as Louis William Jordan, 34, of Landover. Police arrested Brandon Timothy Stevens, 26, of Lake Arbor.

Officers responded to the 10400 block of Beacon Ridge Drive around 1:15 p.m. to check on the welfare of a pizza delivery driver. Police found Jordan suffering from several stab wounds inside of the suspect's apartment. Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.

The investigation shows that Jordan was delivering a pizza to the suspect's home. The suspect started an argument with the victim and then attacked him.

Stevens is being charged with first degree murder and is in custody at the Department of Corrections on a no bond status.

One killed in fatal crash in PG County

BOWIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County Police are investigating a fatal collision that left one person dead on Thursday.

The crash involved three cars and occurred at about 6:50 a.m. in the 11000 block of Lanham Severn Road in Bowie, police said.

Preliminary investigations shows that the driver of a Chevrolet was travelling north on Lanham Severn Road when they crossed into the southbound lanes and struck a Toyota head on, police said. A Lexus traveling behind the Toyota was unable to stop and also struck the Toyota.

Sixty-six-year-old Calvin Willett of Bowie was the driver of the Toyota and succumbed to his injuries after being taken to the hospital. The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to the hospital in serious condition, the driver of the Lexus was not injured, police said.

Bowie serial armed robber arrested

BOWIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Bowie Police Department arrested a suspect who was involved in three armed robberies within the month of September in Bowie, Md., police said.

Police made the arrest on October 17 after they had determined the name of the suspect. The three robberies happened on Evergreen Parkway, Midwood Lane, and Laurel Bowie Road.

The suspect pulled out a handgun, and stole items from the victims in every incident, authorities said. Police were able to recover the items stolen from the victims, police said.

MISSING: 16-year-old girl from Bowie

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Authorities need your help locating a missing 16-year-old girl from Bowie.

Dominique Grines was last seen in Bowie on September 20th, 2014 and it is believed that she may now be in Washington D.C., the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) said.

Grines is described as being 5'6" tall and weighing about 220 pounds. Grines has black hair and black eyes, the NCMEC said.

Grines may be going by the name of Daviella Neal or Nique and may be in the company of an adult male, NCMEC said.

Serial child molester to spend 92 years in prison

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA9) -- A serial child molester will spend 92 years in prison for three different child sex abuse convictions, a judge ruled Friday.

Micahel Brochu was sentenced to six years Friday for abusing a young boy at a community pool in Bowie in 2011. The six year sentence comes on top of prior sentences totaling 86 years.

Micahel Brochu was convicted in July of three counts of third degree sex offense for abusing a young boy at a community pool in Bowie in 2011.

From June through August 2011, Brochu molested a young boy in the showers of the Whitehall Community Pool in Bowie approximately seven times, officials said.
