Adopting A Dog Will Be Cheaper In October

LARGO, Md. (AP) - It will be cheaper to adopt a dog in Prince George's County in October.

The county is lowering adoption fees to celebrate national Adopt-a-Dog Month.

Adoption fees will be discounted by $80 for all dogs adopted from the Animal Services Facility.

Rodney Taylor, who is the county animal management division's associate director, says the county has a variety of dogs available, small and large.
