Victims in fatal Bowie crash identified

BOWIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- The two parents killed late Wednesday night during an accident in Bowie have been identified. 

According to Bowie police, Gene Hutchinson of Annapolis, Md. and Crystal Goff of Bowie, Md. were killed after an accident between an ATV and an SUV.

At around 11:55 p.m. Wednesday, the ATV and SUV were involved in a head-on collision near the intersection of Rack Track Road and Old Chapel Road. Hutchinson, 44, and Goff, 31, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Friends told WUSA9 that Hutchinson and Goff were riding an off-road ATV at the time of the accident.

Police did not identify the driver of the SUV beyond saying he was a 47-year-old man from Landover. He was not seriously injured.

According to friends, Hutchinson was a father of five and Goff had two children.
