The Prince George’s County Minority Business Development Division (MBDD) announces the January Training Schedule.  The outreach and educational programs hosted by MBDD are designed to provide information and resources to assist in the growth of the Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) of Prince George’s County.  Unless otherwise noted, all MBDD training events are free and participants can register atwww.princegeorgescountymd.gov/minoritybusiness.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide contractors with an overview of teaming agreements and joint ventures. The featured speaker for this event is James R. Benjamin, Jr., Esq., Hodes, Pessin & Katz, P.A.

 

Featuring presentations from industry experts, this class will define:

·         What teaming agreements and joint ventures are

·         The benefits of establishing such agreements

We are kicking off our “Doing Business with Prince George’s County” series with our popular free hands-on, interactive training focused on Multi-Step Invitation for Bids (IFBs).

 

The workshop is focused on providing small and minority businesses with the basics of Prince George’s County Multi-Step IFBs and how to effectively respond and submit a bid.

 

Participants will be trained on:

·         How to respond to a Multi-Step IFB

·         How to avoid common challenges and mistakes
